"Our rating" measures deposit accessibility, platform/instrument breadth, and how permissive the broker's trading policy is (EA, scalping, news, weekend holding), plus a smaller trust component — it does not include cost. Cost and Trust score are both shown separately from the rating, on every card. Cost is an average of spread + commission across three benchmark markets — the S&P 500 (US500), EURUSD, and Gold — rather than a single instrument, since brokers price different asset classes very differently (commission commonly applies to forex and often to metals, but rarely to indices, and that pattern itself varies by broker). Trust is our own 0-10 assessment from regulation tier, independent reviews, and complaint history. Each card links to that broker's Trustpilot rating and, where available, a second independent source (ForexPeaceArmy). Always confirm current pricing directly with the broker — spreads move with market conditions and this is a snapshot, not a live feed.
